Deep Lead® was founded in 2002 by Dr. Vesa Nissinen, whose doctoral research on leadership gave rise to the Deep Leadership® framework — a rigorous application of transformational leadership theory. Originally developed for the Finnish Defence Forces, where it drove a cultural shift toward a more human-centered approach to leadership, the framework proved so effective that Deep Lead® was established to bring these same principles to the corporate world.
